Tomolonius Has My Vote
By Donna Spescia, Canton

To my fellow neighbors in Canton: Let's not make running for First Selectperson in town a political personality contest. Mary Tomolonius will uphold the highest professional standard—before, during, and after the campaign. With all that is going on in the world, let's vote for the person we feel will best handle the important issues and concerns that will be affecting Canton residents in the future.

I feel that Mary has the qualifications and, most importantly, the hands-on experience to handle our town issues. Mary has demonstrated her leadership qualities for years. She has served on the Board of Selectman for six years, and has had to make difficult decisions regarding the future direction of our town.

Mary has volunteered countless hours of her time, taking her away from her family to serve on several town committees, including the Canton Chamber of Commerce.

Mary lives and works in Canton, making her very accessible to Canton residents, which I feel is very important.

Again, I feel Mary would be the best candidate to serve as the First Selectperson. Mary's dedication to our community should be recognized, and I will personally cast my vote for her as our new First Selectperson.
