Family Concert to Benefit Falls Village Day Care

The Falls Village Day Care Center presents David Grover and the Big Bear Band in a concert for families on Sunday, November 25 at 1 p.m. in the Walker Auditorium at the Hotchkiss School in Lakeville. The hour-long concert is a celebration of the season's music from around the world.

David Grover and the Big Bear Band are known nationally for their live performances and audio and video recordings of music especially geared for children. Band members David Grover, Terri A La Berry and Kathy Jo Barrett have been playing together and winning various awards for more then ten years. From the Pine Ridge Indian Reservation in South Dakota to the White House, the band performs for children all over America with their musical message, "We Can Make A Difference!" They have a strong following throughout the tri-state area when not on tour.

Funds raised from the concert will help pay for various items needed for programs at the Day Care Center. Such items include field trip costs, science materials, art supplies, sports and playground equipment, books and music.

Tickets may be purchased at the Falls Village Day Care Center on Page Rd. (off Route 7); Fife's 7 & 63, Mountainside Café, and Lindell's in Canaan; Cornwall Package Store; Tom's Toys in Great Barrington; and Oblong Books in Millerton.
