TORRINGTON: Litchfield County Business and Professional Women’s Club meets at the Venetian Restaurant with networking at 5:30 p.m., a business meeting at 6 p.m., and dinner at 6:30 p.m. Regular and new members are invited to showcase their businesses at 7:30 p.m. Dinner cost is $22; reservations required by January 7. GOSHEN: A caucus of registered Democratic voters of Goshen will be held at 7 p.m. in the Goshen Town Hall Conference Room. The meeting agenda includes the endorsement of members of the Democratic Town Committee, and the transaction of other business as may be proper to bring before said caucus. NEW HARTFORD: A Community Clothing Swap will be held at North Congregational Church from 1-4 p.m. Bring your gently used clothing and shoes to trade for items swapped in by others. Hundreds of fall and winter items are available for children, women and men. This ongoing event is free and open to the public; for more info call 307-7874.
