TORRINGTON: The Depression and Manic Depression Association Support Group of Northwest CT welcomes Cheryl Menard of the McCall Foundation as its guest speaker during its weekly meeting in the small dining room at Charlotte Hungerford Hospital at 7 p.m. Ms. Menard will present a talk on Dual Disorder, i.e. mental illness and substance abuse. The speaker is a licensed clinical social worker with ten years experience in the field of mental health and substance abuse treatment, and currently facilitates the dual disorder support group at McCall.
