Glassman, an internationally syndicated columnist and fellow of the American Enterprise Institute, will speak about "The Secret Code of the Superior Investor." NORFOLK: Norfolk Community Associates sponsors the 11th annual Norfolk Cleanup Day from 9-11 a.m. Meet at the Village Green to help unlitter our streets; litter bags will be provided, and refreshments will follow. School children, senior citizens, Scouts, individuals and families are welcome to participate in this rewarding day that will add a new dimension of fun and camaraderie to your life. TORRINGTON: The Women’s College Club of Litchfield County meets at 2 p.m. at Summerville, 376 Goshen Rd. Guest speaker Barbara Hale will discuss "My Family and China." The Women’s College Club meets four times a year, with an educational program featured at each meeting; guests are welcome. The club also awards scholarships to graduating high school seniors, both men and women, who are beginning programs of study that lead to a bachelor’s degree. ROCKY HILL: The State of CT Insurance Dept. holds a public meeting about Insurance License Testing from 10 a.m.-noon at the Rocky Hill Marriott, 100 Capital Blvd. Officials from the Insurance Dept. and representatives from Experior Assessments, LLC and the Kelley Insurance Center at Duke University will provide trainers, managers and publishers with information concerning the testing program and candidate performance, as well as collect comments and answer questions from those attending.
