Trumpeter Chiz Rider at Calvary Baptist
Calvary Baptist Church, 342 Prospect St. in Torrington presents Chiz Rider in concert on Sunday, April 28 at 7 p.m. Chiz Rider is one of America's foremost professional trumpeters and performs over 200 concerts annually throughout North America and in international tours. He has played with a number of popular Christian music artists and has appeared in the Pittsburgh Billy Graham Crusade and numerous times at the Crystal Cathedral. He played for President Bush's central Pennsylvania presidential campaign and has played for the West Virginia and Pennsylvania Special Olympics opening ceremonies.
Chiz Rider is touring with a newly designed concert including a high-impact light show and large-screen video enhancement. A highly enjoyable musical experience for people of all ages, Chiz Rider's concerts are professional and entertaining; most importantly, the focus and goal are to glorify Christ, to present the Gospel and to encourage believers.
