Following are the final results for the Torrington Fishing Derby, which was held on Saturday, April 20.
The grand prize was won by James Henry with a 25-inch brown trout. Second place in the adult division was taken by Janet Stewart with a 14-inch rainbow trout; and third place went to Frank Cimono with a 13 5/8-inch rainbow trout.
There were no entries in the teen (ages 13-17) division.
In the children’s division (age 12 and under), first place went to Tanya Lomento (8 1/2 years old) with a 19-inch rainbow trout; second place went to Dylan Stewart (11 years old) with a 14 3/4-inch rainbow trout; and third place was taken by Amanda Zontok (12 years old) with a 14 5/8-inch brook trout.
