The 2001-02 Northwest YMCA Lasers Swim Team completed their season with a banquet at The Cornucopia on April 4. The Lasers had 27 swimmers compete this year at the YMCA New England meet held in Providence, RI, and placed 15th overall out of the 74 teams that competed. They also had 13 swimmers compete at the Connecticut State Swimming Championships and three swimmers qualify for the YMCA Short Course Nationals. The Lasers are coached by Rich Crane.
