Julie Marie Cavanaugh Honored
Special Olympics Connecticut Board of Directors Chairman Joe Gugliotti (left) and ESPN personality Kenny Mayne (right) presented Special Olympics athlete Julie Marie Cavanaugh of Cornwall Bridge with the Spirit of Life Award at the Special Olympics Connecticut 2002 Hall of Fame dinner on March 19. Created in 1982, the Spirit of Life pays tribute to the Special Olympics athletes in Connecticut and their accomplishments both on and off the field.
