Remember Dad

Father's Day has just been here,
A day we celebrate each year
To honor our Dad and show our love.
Many of us have lost our Dad
Through illness or through fate,
So show your Dad you love him
Before it is too late.
Our Dads worked hard to provide for us,
To care for all our needs.
Show him that you care,
And he surely will be pleased.
Remember the days when you were small,
Your Dad was always there.
He showed you that within your heart
He loved you one and all.
Dad taught you how to live your life
And showed you right from wrong.
He was there to offer advice
Whenever a problem came along.
So take the time to honor him
And let him know you care!
That if he ever needs you
You will always be there.
Call or write to him often
To check on his welfare.
Life hasn't always been easy,
Though we know he did his best.
