Art Show at Torrington City Hall

A show featuring artwork by people with developmental disabilities is currently on display in the 2nd floor auditorium at City Hall in Torrington. The local artists are consumers from Transitional Employment Unlimited (TEC), Litchfield County Association for Retarded Citizens (LARC), and Baroco.
The artwork includes pictures painted with pine needle brushes and unique sponging techniques, handmade quilts, pen and ink drawings, and birdhouses. The show was coordinated by TEC Art Director Elaine Powell, and Elaine Tedesco, Coordinator of Volunteer Services for LARC.
