The Consuming Quest for World Peace
By Stanley J. Wosczyna, New Britain

The many critical confrontations in the world—Israel vs. Palestine, India vs. Pakistan, the world vs. terrorists, etc.—demand more reaction from the United Nations and the North Atlantic Treaty Organization. The members of the UN and NATO must realize that they have a mandate to preserve peace on earth, and they should do their utmost to be true to their obligations and therefore wholeheartedly unite with our nation in its consuming quest for world peace. The US. should not be the only defender of world peace.

The immense supply of the most efficient killing weapons, now easily available for world destruction, does not allow much time for deliberations as to the course that peace-loving inhabitants of the world must take. Among the options for permanent peace that are available, the recommendations exhorted by sound religious tenets should definitely be seriously considered.
