Don't Miss the Vote in Litchfield
Litchfield voters have the power to influence the future on Tuesday, July 30. A vote will take place on a referendum regarding a petition to reject the passed school building proposal. Registered voters who anticipate being away that day should contact the Town Clerk at 567-7561 to receive an application for an absentee ballot. The ballot will be mailed to you upon receipt of your application.
A qualified voter may vote absentee if unable to vote in person due to illness or physical disability; absence from town during all election hours; religious beliefs forbidding secular activity on election day; or service as an election official at a polling place other than their own. Privacy protections prevent your name from being connected to your vote when it is tallied.
The League of Women Voters is a nonprofit, nonpartisan volunteer organization of women and men founded in 1920 whose mission is to promote political responsibility through the informed and active participation of all citizens in their government. Time is of the essence; make sure your voice is heard!
