Benefit Concert at Church of Christ
The Church of Christ, 800 Main St. in Winsted holds its 5th annual benefit concert on Saturday, October 26 at 6:30 p.m. The concert will benefit the Interfaith Food Bank and the Open Door Soup Kitchen, and all proceeds from the concert will go to these two beneficial operations.
Many area individuals and musical groups have donated their time and talents to make this another memorable event. The program will include vocal and instrumental music, both sacred and secular, and some just fun musical numbers. Featured will be the Laurel City Singers, singers from the Gilbert School Concert Choir, a trombone trio, vocal and instrumental soloists, the Heart of Worship Band, and the Women's Praise Chorus and Senior Choir from the Church of Christ.
All are encouraged to come, relax, and enjoy an evening of live music. Ticket prices, which have been kept reasonable to encourage more to attend, are $10 for general admission, $5 for students and seniors (age 62 and over), or $20 for a family.
