Joseph Zdonczyk Will Work for Us
Stanley J. Wosczyna, New Britain

In the coming election on November 5, I hope the voters will be motivated by the traumatic experience of 9/11 and bring about a much needed change in our electoral process—increasing citizen participation, considering only the candidate's merit and not being swayed by a candidate's vast monetary campaign expenditures, which are made possible by generous donors (who expect more than a "thank you" card and/or an orchid in return).

A case in point is the contest in the 5th Congressional District, where the candidates of the two major political parties are continually flooding the media with their rhetoric, assuming that the voter will eventually capitulate; and so far their assumption has proven correct.

Since governing officials are motivated by their commitment to their benefactors, we should vote for the candidate who will always be free to work in the best interest of all U.S. citizens, from conception to natural death. Fortunately we have such a candidate in the 5th Congressional District contest—Mr. Joseph Zdonczyk of the Concerned Citizens Party. A vote for Mr. Zdonczyk is a vote for a candidate who is truly free to serve the American people.
