GOSHEN: McLean Health Center’s Bone and Joint Wellness Program offers bone density screenings at Camp Cochipianee, 291 Beach St. from 1-3 p.m. This test for individuals age 21 or older utilizes ultrasound on your bare heel; it takes only a few minutes. Test results are explained on site and will also be sent to your doctor; a doctor’s referral is not necessary, and the screening is not covered by insurance. Cost is $30 for those over age 50, or $35 for those under 50. To schedule an appointment, call Dale Ives at 860-491-2249; walk-ins will be accommodated as time permits.
