New Children’s Librarian at Beardsley & Memorial
Beardsley & Memorial Library, 40 Munro Place in Winsted has announced the appointment of Wayne Ellsworth as Children’s Librarian. Mr. Ellsworth is a longtime Winsted resident with a graduate certificate in elementary education from St. Joseph College in West Hartford. He has worked at several area schools and served on the Winchester Board of Education from 1983-91. Wayne’s daughters attended Winchester schools and enjoyed their visits to the Beardsley & Memorial Library; Elizabeth now works at the Wheeler Clinic in Plainville, and Kelley builds homes for Habitat for Humanity on Johns Island, SC.
Mr. Ellsworth looks forward to meeting visitors to the Children’s Room.
