Falk Foundation Accepting Grant Applications
The Falk Foundation, a private, non-exempt trust which awards financial grants for creative ideas in pursuit of excellence, is seeking applications. Connecticut residents ages 12-19, or age 50 and older may apply for these grants by submitting their proposal for an original project by April 1, 2003. Grants in the amount of up to $1,000 will be awarded in May.
Applicants may be individuals or groups. Recent winning proposals have included providing a computer for residents of Melita Welcome House for refugees, and creation of a Safe Haven office in Southbury.
