Is Your Vehicle a Pain?
The Southern New England Chapter of the Arthritis Foundation is seeking donations of unwanted vehicles, including boats, trucks and motor homes, for its Autos for Arthritis campaign. The funds raised from donated vehicles supports research as well as the programs and services the chapter provides to residents. There is no cost for picking up donated vehicles, and donors may qualify for a tax deduction.
New statistics from the Centers of Disease Control show that arthritis or chronic joint pain is on the rise. There are now an estimated 800,000 Connecticut residents who have arthritis or chronic joint pain. The Arthritis Foundation, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit health organization and ranked in Worth magazine's top 100 charities, is committed to improving lives through leadership in the prevention, control and cure of arthritis and related diseases.
To donate a vehicle, call 800-905-4931. Please have your title and vehicle identification number available when you call.
