Salisbury Lions Thank Supporters
The Salisbury Lions Club would like to thank the donors who supported the Fall Fling Dance held on November 23 to benefit the work of local resident Mary Davis and the international charitable organization Mercy Ships. These much-appreciated benefactors include the Lakeville Fitness Center, Dona Olinger, the Enchanted Florist, the White Hart Inn, Shirley Hurley, Sidetracks, Kathy Hawley and Joe Lavarro of WQQQ. The Mercy Ships are floating hospitals which not only bring medical care and supplies to the poor but also provide education about health care and sanitation. The club's second donation of $250 will go to help Mary Davis raise $10,000 for the Mercy Ships.
