BANTAM: Veteran of the Month services will be conducted at 10 a.m. by American Legion Tyler-Seward-Kubish Post 44 at the All Wars Memorial on Route 202. The program will begin with the retirement of the flag of December’s Veteran of the Month, Korean War U.S. Air Force Sergeant Malcolm Ford, Jr., after which Civil War Army veteran Andrew McGurk will be honored as the January Veteran of the Month. NEW HARTFORD: A Community Clothing Swap will be held at North Congregational Church from 10 a.m.-2 p.m. Bring your gently used clothing and shoes to trade for items swapped in by others. BRISTOL: The Mothers of Multiples of Greater Bristol meet at 7:30 p.m. at the First Congregational Church, 31 Maple St. After the general meeting, the group will be pampered with facials by a representative from The Body Shop. There will be hors d’oeuvres and refreshments. This club is a support group for mothers of twins, triplets and higher order multiples; new members are always welcome.
