Charlotte Hungerford Auxiliary Offers Scholarships
Applications for the Charlotte Hungerford Hospital Auxiliary Scholarships are now available. Applicants should be residents of towns where citizens avail themselves of the services of Charlotte Hungerford Hospital. An additional requirement is that the recipient pursue a career in the health field.
This year ten scholarships in the amount of $1,000 each will be awarded, along with a special scholarship donated by the late Dr. J. Alfred Fabro. Award night is scheduled for May 22.
Applications may be obtained from the guidance departments of area high schools, and at the financial aid offices of UConn-Torrington Branch and Northwestern CT Community College. Applications must be postmarked by March 29. For more info call 860-482-1353.
