Torrington Lions Sponsorship Appreciation
The Torrington Lions Club holds its annual Sponsorship Appreciation Dinner on Thursday, February 6 at Maple Leaf Restaurant in Torrington. Awards will be given to individuals and companies that have provided funds or services to the club. Mr George Salpietro, Executive Director of Fidelco Guide Dog Foundation, will be the guest speaker.
The Torrington Lions Club continues to take an active interest in the civic, social and moral welfare of the community. Since 1925, its members have dedicated themselves to service, and have contributed over $250,000 to worthy community activities.
The Torrington Lions Club would not be able to continue its great works without the support of those they will honor at their Sponsor Appreciation Dinner, including Wal-Mart, PriceChopper, Sears Hardware, Coffee House Plus, Peoples Bank, and many others.
