Salisbury's Excellent Antiwar Resolution

I urge all the residents of every town to read and consider the excellent resolution that was adopted by the Town of Salisbury at their special town meeting on January 17. [Salisbury Resolution Against Preemptive War, The Voice, January 17] The Town of Salisbury must be very proud to have experienced such a positive reception to this petition.
If only all the other towns in Connecticut could raise their voices, knowing that a deeper budget crisis—as well as a moral crisis—will ensue if this war against Iraq is waged.
