Donation Toward Purchase of Dark Hollow Road Tract
Salisbury Land Trust has launched an effort to raise funds to purchase a 123-acre tract of undeveloped land on Dark Hollow Road, which will then become a public nature park with trails for hiking and cross-country skiing, horseback riding and other protected activities.
Borden Realtors has pledged $10,000 toward the purchase of the property. According to Jim Dresser of the Trust, "Borden Realtors is the first real estate firm to volunteer a substantial sum to help us acquire this property and we hope that their gesture will set a pattern for others."
