Scholarships Awarded to St. Peter School Students

St. Peter School in Torrington, a small school which prides itself on its family atmosphere and Christian morals and values, is proud to announce that 8th grade student Nicholas Blouin, son of Bill and Trish Blouin, has received a $5,000 scholarship, renewable for four years, to attend St. Paul Catholic High School in Bristol.
Scholarships of $1,000 to St. Paul High School were awarded to 8th grade students Zachary McIntire, son of Mike and Sue Boland; and Maureen Malley, daughter of Mark and Kathryn Malley.
These scholarships were based on academic achievement and financial need. As part of the application process, students were also required to submit a 500-word essay that included their interest in attending St. Paul High School, as well as their future goals.
