White Supremacist?

I might have been deeply offended by comments about me made by Mr. Keith Harmon Snow in his letter "Why Do They Hate Us?" [February 28]. Mr. Snow obviously was quite moved by my letter [Food for Thought, February 14] and that is why he mentions it. His way of being moved was to call it (my letter) "real scapegoating" and said that it "seethes with white supremacy, sexism and hatred." I never realized I was that obvious, but thank you for your revelation, Mr. Snow.
Now, I am not annoyed at Mr. Snow's complete analysis and profile of my personality and beliefs based on a single letter. What really ticked me off is that in his lengthy tirade attacking anyone with whom he disagreed, he gave me so few lines.
Mr. Snow, you offered some kind and sensitive thoughts toward the end of your letter. My letters, while they express my own unique view of things, are intended to get others to give some thought to subjects I consider important. If the kind and sensitive person is the real you, please forgive the provocation.
