Mike Driscoll Will Work Hard for You

The simple fact is that there is not one person who has not been affected by the events of September 11. President Bush has asked us to move forward with business as usual. Easier said than done—but an election is around the corner, and Torrington must know who, what and where the candidates are.

Simplicity is the condition of or quality of being simple. Isn't that refreshing in this time of struggle and strife? Choosing a candidate for City Council should not be a lot of work. It can be simple. Mike Driscoll wants to represent you. He will work hard for you. It doesn't get much simpler than that.

The issues Torrington faces have been ongoing. We know, too well, the challenges of fire department personnel, the need for new schools, and the never-ending battle of downtown revitalization. Mike will become actively involved. He has already proven this by being a competent business owner and through the high level of participation he provides to our town. He will always listen to you. This is so important, and this can sometimes become such a complicated job for some. He also always has a smile on his face—and isn't that a welcome sight amongst others?

I believe in the job that Mike can do for our city. He will become a positive reinforcement on our City Council—it is that simple.
