It is clear from an outsider’s point of view that Michael Driscoll knows how to conduct a political campaign. I’ve never seen so many ads, signs and energy invested in a City Council seat.

Mike has been a businessman for many years in the City of Torrington. I believe the people will go to the voting booth knowing the candidate for whom they cast a vote. As the Chairman of the Democratic Town Committee in Falls Village, I have never seen a petitioning candidate so organized, anxious to serve, and working so hard at his campaign. Obviously, Mike cares deeply and wants to be a part of a very open government, keeping its citizens well informed on issues.

I feel the City of Torrington is fortunate in having a candidate who is so concerned about the city, knowledgeable in business matters, willing to put in as much time as is required, willing to speak with constituents at all hours, anxious to donate his $700 salary back to benefit a charitable organization in Torrington, and unwilling to accept any contributions from outside sources. I think his campaign is indicative of the type of representation you would get from him.

The voters of the City of Torrington would be well-served by pulling Lever 2D for Michael Driscoll, City Council.
