Although I am not a Colebrook elector, I nonetheless wish to voice my support of George Wilber for Colebrook's office of first selectman. As a former long-time member of Northwestern Regional #7 Board of Education, I have known George as a strong and able supporter of Regional's Vo-Ag (now Ag-Ed) program as it has grown to be a state of the art facility, capable of attracting tuition-paying students from surrounding towns. Completely funded by the State of Connecticut, such programs serve as an example of Mr. Wilber's philosophy of securing the return of much needed tax dollars to our communities. More ... |
