No Change, for a Change

Marie Knudsen's opponents say it is time for a change. A change for the better? A change that is long overdue? What kind of change? I say change is good when necessary, but not just for its own sake.

Marie is seeking another term as Harwinton's First Selectman. In the past she has successfully procured state and federal funds to help pay for bridges and for the new highway garage currently under construction, and has instigated state projects to eliminate road hazards—and all with minimal impact to residents' local taxes.

Marie is responsive to individual problems brought to her attention, and she is not for change when it is unwarranted. Harwinton has prospered under her leadership and continues to be the model small town, where people are proud to be called its residents.

Harwinton is the sweetest country town in Northwest Connecticut, and I am proud to vote for Marie and her team, because I know they will keep it this way.
