Art Exhibits

Harwinton Public Library, 80 Bentley Drive in Harwinton presents an exhibit of the paintings of Cornwall artist HARVEY OFFENHARTZ. Mr. Offenhartz is an abstract artist whose works are painted in oil enamel on paper with occasional use of oil stick and montage. Miss Porter’s School, 60 Main St. in Farmington presents the photographs of MARK ESHBAUGH through November 30 in the Gilbert Gallery. His work addresses issues of the relationship of parts to the whole in regard to time and space, and with the question of balance between conflict and harmony. Eshbaugh has worked with a variety of cameras and formats, including a camera that he created. For more info call 860-409-3500.

Oliver Wolcott Library, 160 South St. in Litchfield presents oil paintings by WARREN BROWN PRINDLE during the month of November. Prindle is known for his symbolic-figurative compositions, as well as landscapes and still life. His work is in many private and corporate collections throughout the U.S., as well as in Japan and in Europe. His most notable mural is in the Bank of Boston Building in Boston. Library hours are Moday from noon-5 p.m., Tuesday through Thursday from 10 a.m.-9 p.m., and Friday and Saturday from 10 a.m.-5 p.m.; for more info call 860-567-8030.

Simons Rock College in Great Barrington presents WORKS IN COLOR by Simon’s Rock students in the Atrium Gallery through December 19.
