Protection Against Terrorism Necessary

By Stanley J. Wosczyna, New Britain

The compatriots of the terrorists who gave their lives for a misguided cause on September 11 are gloating over the exceptional success of their quest to rid the world of Americans and disrupt the U.S.A.’s economic system and way of life, at a small monetary expense. All Americans, especially our governing officials, now face a formidable task of preventing a similar terrible catastrophe. This task will require God's gift of wisdom.

A very startling fact about the terrorists is that these very devout members of the Islam religious faith sincerely believed that we Americans are devils and should be destroyed. For many decades the U.S.A. has been, second to none, an altruistic nation striving to sustain peace and good welfare to all world inhabitants, proving that it is definitely not an evil nation. It's a well known fact that devils never did any good for humanity; these facts can't be denied.

With the whole world being threatened by terrorism, and since it's questionable if the world has sufficient law enforcing agencies to combat the terrorists, it would be wise to seek the assistance of the eyes and ears of all the peace-loving inhabitants of the world. The law enforcement agencies cannot guarantee that all potential terrorists will be under surveillance, for there will always be some free to concoct their plans at their leisure. Thus it will be a lifesaver if the local law enforcers become aware before and not after the terrorist plan is executed.

Though the world’s inhabitants have survived many crises, fortunately without any permanent depression, let us pray to our Lord Jesus Christ that this present crisis will end similarly.
