The Ambulatory Surgery Center at Winsted Health Center
     The Ambulatory Surgery Center (ASC) at the Winsted Health Center was "state-of-the-art" when completed by Charlotte Hungerford Hospital four years ago. Charlotte Hungerford spent something in the neighborhood of $1 million for this particular renovation. This was considered a wise investment by all concerned.

Vote "Row A" for Action and Advancement
     A couple of years ago, my wife and I moved to the town of Winsted. We purchased a home from a longtime resident, and we immediately felt at home here. This was a little surprising to our southern families; I am a descendant from many generations of Georgians, and my wife has firm roots in Virginia. It is kind of hard to hide my Georgia accent, yet most folks around here seem to be amused by my drawl. We found so much here: warm and friendly neighbors, beautiful and historic homes, a loving and caring church home, and even a lake here in town!

Support Endorsed Democrats in Primary
     On Tuesday, March 5 from 6 a.m.-8 p.m. at Pearson School, Winchester Democrats will have the opportunity to vote in a Democratic primary. The purpose of this primary is to elect a new Democratic Town Committee responsible for nominating, supporting, campaigning for, and fundraising for Democrats who seek office at the local, state and national levels. But the most important responsibility of the Committee is to represent all Winchester Democrats' needs and concerns.
