It tells the story of the Myers familys migration to Harlem from Waycross, Georgia. Myers chronicles his passion for the community and culture of Harlem throughout the story. Many of his tales include his African ancestry. The story is underscored by traditional and contemporary jazz compositions to create a compelling harmony between verse and music.
