Correction

When transcribing Ursula Kilner’s handwritten submission for her article "What Happened to American History Month?" [February 22], we managed to transform her references to Howard University into "Harvard" University.

In fact, E. Franklin Frazier was a professor at Howard University; and it was Howard University that Ursula was referring to as a school that, although not intended to be specifically for black students, was at its founding one of the few universities in this country open to all regardless of race.

We regret the errors.
