His film "James Baldwin: From Another Place" (1963) was widely exhibited in film festivals throughout the United States and Europe. He recently completed "Walker Evans/ America" for PBS. His photographs have been exhibited internationally and are in the collections of the Museum of Modern Art, the Smithsonian Museum, the Museum of Turkish-Islamic Arts in Istanbul, the Getty Museum, and the Metropolitan Museum of Art. He is currently working on a one-hour biography of Josef Albers, the Bauhaus artist and teacher, and a film on the Hudson River School of painters, both of which will be broadcast on PBS. Mr. Kutz has a BFA in photographic ilustration and is presently the photographic imaging manager with a local catalog company.
