Los Ciegos Del Barrio at NCCC

Los Ciegos Del Barrio are five Latino-American musicians from New York City who do not see as well as most of us (they are visually impaired), but who hear better than all of us. From the fiery salsa and merengue to the more romantic bachata, the band handles all the traditional rhythms and modern dance styles with an energetic ease. Los Ciegos has performed at The Village Gate in New York City and has toured Russia and the Dominican Republic under the auspices of Project Troubador.

For an evening of dancing and singing that will lift your spirits, join Los Ciegos on Friday, May 3 from 7-10 p.m. in Founders Hall Auditorium at Northwestern CT Community College, Park Place East in Winsted. Refreshments (Comida Latina) will be provided.
