An Excellent Rebuttal

Congratulations to Mr. Peter Wolfgang concerning his excellent rebuttal [The Pro-Choice Movement’s Intellectual Lineage, June 21] to Ms. Gabrielle Bernard’s pro-abortion article [Homegrown Religious Fanaticism, June 7]. His arguments were scholarly, academic and, most importantly, dispassionate. One rarely finds any argument concerning abortion, pro or con, that isn’t loaded with emotional pleas, prejudicial mischaracterizations and political rhetoric.

We truly need more Voice contributors such as Peter Wolfgang. It is my hope that he will continue to grace the pages of this paper with his excellent insights.
