13th Annual Tour de Torrington

Join the 13th annual Tour de Torrington on Sunday, August 4 and support the American Cancer Society's programs of research and service that benefit local cancer patients.

The Tour begins and ends at Coe Park in Torrington and offers activities for people of all ages, fitness levels and abilities. Participants can choose to take a cycling tour of 12, 30, 50 or 75 miles through scenic Litchfield County, or they can walk, run, skate or wheelchair around Torrington on courses ranging from 1.9 to 8 miles. Volunteers are also needed to help with a variety of tasks on the day of the event, when there will be plenty of food, music, prizes and fun. The registration fee will be waived for those who raise $100 or more in pledges, and all entrants will receive a commemorative Tour de Torrington T-shirt and water bottle.

Many great prizes will be awarded to top team and individual fundraisers, including a Trek bicycle donated by Tommy's Bicycles and Fitness of Torrington, to the person who collects the most pledges.
