Over the years I have taught just about every age of student. Ray Pavlak [Death by Voucher, July 19] blithely mentions that the Cleveland public schools will be experimenting with vouchers for the next five or ten years. More ... When I first heard about the tragic police shooting of a young New Britain man on July 23, "He got what he deserved" ran through my mind. But if the account later that week in the New Britain Herald holds any truth to this tragedy, I should be ashamed of myself. More ... Dan Gordon is a former sergeant in the IDF (Israeli Defense Forces), the author of five books, and a screenwriter. More ...
