I am responding to the letters in The Voice on August 2 by Edward LeHoskey [Tired of Giving Our Tax Money Away] and Anthony Accetta [America Not Responsible for a Foreign Government]. More ... The anti-Israel letter writers (or would it be more appropriate to say "anti-Semitic"—sometimes the distinction is quite blurry) are out in force again with the usual disinformation, non sequiturs, and half-truths. The letter in The Voice, "A Palestinian State Would Be a Disaster for the World" [August 2] by Marvin Peyser, reflects a distorted and biased view of the history of the Palestinians in the "Holy Land." More ... What would you think about people who built a house and then, three years later, tear about a quarter of it apart to put in extra plumbing? Not too bright. No planning.
