The Living Section at Greenwoods Theatre

The Living Section, a Manhattan musical fresh to Greenwoods Theatre, located on Route 44 in the center of Norfolk, spoofs current fads and fatuities in a heartwarming tale of love in the big city. It socks everything from marriage counselors and pretentious high rollers to the modern cults of gourmet food and body culture, and a great deal in between.

Young lovers Geoff and Gabriella, played by Kevin T. Collins and Mary Murphy, stumble their way through outrageous elements of the current scene with tuneful brio in this madcap romp written by Richard Smithies and Maura Cavanaugh.

The Living Section plays on Tuesdays through Saturdays at 8 p.m., and Sundays at 2:30 p.m. through September 1. Tickets are $20 and $25, with balcony seating now available in the newly restored and air-conditioned theater; for more info call 860-542-0026.
