Educrats Don’t Like Being Asked Questions
I find it no surprise that Winchester Democratic Town Committee Chairman Steven Sedlack and some other Town Committee members are not supporting our rightfully elected Democratic Board of Education members. A true Democrat would be supporting them. It seems our local Democratic Party has been taken over by people in education (educrats). Town Committee Chairman Sedlack is a school principal and education administrator, Town Committee Secretary Astrid Robitaille is a former schoolteacher, and Town Committee member Maryann Welcome is a teacher. Unlike the above-named individuals, I supported and will continue to support the Democratic members of the Board of Education because they have worked for the people and to improve the education of our children. They haven’t worked for the superintendent and teachers—who are, in fact, supposed to be working for the Board of Education and the children. Democrats Joe Cadrain, Bob Bixby, Art Melycher and Dave LaPointe are people like you and me. It’s about time we had a Board of Education that is willing and able to stand up to the educrats like Steve Sedlack. Unlike the rubber-stamp boards of the past, this Board of Education has been excellent at asking question of our highly paid educators and administrators. It seems they (the educrats) don’t like this. I support the Winchester Board of Education. Keep up the good work! |
