"Getting to Know Your Bones" in Bantam

The next meeting of the Mary Floyd Tallmadge Chapter, DAR of Litchfield will be held on Thursday, September 12 at 5 p.m. at Bantam Borough Hall, Route 202 in Bantam. A 6 p.m. potluck supper will be followed by a talk on "Getting to Know Your Bones" by Dr. Avery L. Jenkins. A graduate of the University of Bridgeport College of Chiropractic, Dr. Jenkins has completed nearly ten years of undergraduate and graduate education. He has also pursued several years of post-graduate studies in clinical nutrition. Dr. Jenkins is currently a board-eligible Diplomate in Clinical Nutrition, a level of education achieved by fewer than 300 physicians in the country.
