Make Your Mark on Winsted

The Friends of Main Street kick off their Brick Fundraiser on Thursday, September 5 in conjunction with Winsted's Main Street Enhancement Project groundbreaking ceremony. Imagine having your name immortalized on part of Winsted’s historic Main Street as a lasting legacy for future generations. Purchasing an engraved brick and becoming a part of Winsted’s exciting Main Street Enhancement Project is the perfect way to demonstrate your pride in your town or honor a loved one. Personalized brick pavers make a creative gift, one that will last a lifetime. In addition, by participating in this unique fundraiser, you will be contributing to the revitalization of Winsted’s downtown area and helping the Friends of Main Street accomplish other tasks devoted to bringing friends, neighbors and shoppers back to downtown Winsted.

The personalized pavers will be installed on the north side of Main Street, just to the inside of the granite curbstones. This prominent display will lend a wonderful community spirit to our downtown area, and transform Winsted's Main Street into a unique landmark.

The 4" x 8" bricks can accommodate up to three lines of writing with 12 letters or spaces per line, printed in capital letters. Order forms are available in most downtown stores, as well as at the Beardsley & Memorial Library, the Town Hall, and the town's Information Booth near the Community College Library.

It is our hope that through the success of this fundraiser the Friends of Main Street can continue to partner with local businesses to further enhance the downtown area. We thank you in advance for your support of this worthwhile endeavor.
