The Sea of Red Ink By Raymond G. Wilcox, Torrington

Some eons ago three wise men of Gotham went to sea in a bowl; if the bowl had been stronger the story might have been longer.

Recently, three gurus of Gotham formed a billion dollar hedge fund and foundered in a sea of red ink churned by Wall Street brokers.

Today, W the president, guided by brokers, toadies, analysts and moss-backed mountebankers, strives to lead Joe and Janie six-pack to the red sea of ink, where they can watch their savings and social security sink.

For should not all in a democracy have the opportunity to be in the company of the high-rolling, wise guy bettors and bail out the brokerage business with their sweat-stained shekels?
