CT Vaccine Information Alliance

Two years ago, the CT Vaccine Information Alliance (CTVIA) was formed with the goal of providing information about vaccines, including state laws and exemptions, to Connecticut citizens. CTVIA is an information advocacy organization composed of parents, professionals and other concerned individuals from Connecticut. CTVIA has become a strong voice for those who seek up-to-date, accurate information concerning every aspect of vaccines and vaccine policy.

"We have seen a tremendous rise in interest regarding vaccines and exemptions recently as Connecticut citizens have become more informed," says CTVIA President Lisa Reiss. "As our organization continues to grow, we still pride ourselves on being a reliable source of information."

CTVIA has made a name for itself, participating in forums designed to set vaccine policy as well as working directly with state legislators to formulate vaccine-related laws that protect the safety and rights of all Connecticut residents.

CTVIA is also known for its comprehensive, fact-packed newsletters that cover topics such as the congressional hearings investigating many aspects of vaccines, as well as providing information on nursing home and college vaccine requirements and exemptions.
