     I believe the quote from one of the youths who recently tried jumping in front of moving cars was that they were doing it because they were "bored." How can someone be bored in a world where there are a multitude of challenging things to do, many of which are part of the basic tasks needed for simple survival—providing food and shelter?

This Week on Main Street By Fred Newman and Martha Rein, Winsted
