Walking the Walk with Ned Coll

Ned Coll is a friend of mine. To all who have heard, read about or know Ned Coll: chances are that unless you're a friend of his you might not understand him.

Ned is a true activist, with a lion's heart. A man of uncompromising spirit with the rare ability to mean what he says. I respect him for that and supported him 100% in his run for governor. Unfortunately, Ned's chances of being nominated were slim, but Ned felt the great need to bring his message to the people of Connecticut and walked through 160 towns carrying a sign that said "Rowland's Corrupt, Vote for Honesty, Ned Coll for Governor." I walked through several of those towns with him and carried that sign part of the way.

Bill Curry speaks highly of Ned and has stated on my cable TV program that Ned is an inspiration to him and has been for many years. John Olsen, the State Democratic Party Chairman, has defended Ned's statements regarding John Rowland and has called Rowland several choice names himself.

After the Democratic convention, Rowland's people demanded an apology from Ned and approached the great political side-show freak Joe Leibercameleon the Republicrat, who made his politically correct comments denouncing Ned's statements about Rowland, insuring that his two cents worth would make the press. Ned has since written to him offering to debate his statements; I think he should debate Leibercameleon's pathetic voting record as well.

It doesn't take a prophet to see who and what John Rowland is and what he has done to the state of Connecticut, though in many ways Ned Coll is a prophet. A prophet is a man or woman with an inspired vision, who successfully reaches the heart and soul of people by speaking the truth and having the courage and commitment to speak that truth regardless of whom it may attack, or the personal attacks it may bring upon himself.

I respect Ned Coll for who he is and what he has done for the last 40 years to valiantly fight for the poor citizens of Hartford, and to fight against corruption on the streets and in government. I for one believe Rowland is an evil force in Connecticut and should be thrown out of office along with all of his paid-off political appointees, and that he and they should be indicted for high crimes and fraud against the citizens of Connecticut. Ned Coll is right in stating that "Rowland is a joke." Unfortunately John Rowland is a very bad joke, and the thought of having him as governor for four more years is truly sickening and nothing to laugh at.
